Active Chair class is an effective and safe way to help individuals to become healthier, and happier. Utilizing a chair as the primary piece of equipment, the sessions are designed to improve, mobility, muscle tone, flexibility and endurance while both seated and standing. Active Chair is ideal for those with health chronic conditions or those first starting an exercise program.

Once you complete the certification you will be familiar with:

Active Chair course provides guidelines and a comprehensive outline with evidence-based information on how to teach a safety Active Chair group fitness class to a wide variety of participants.

The health professional, who may or may not have the education or background knowledge on group classes, will also learn how to set up properly and safely, medical considerations to be aware of, how to screen and assess a participant fitness levels and a detailed outline of 10 Active Chair classes with descriptions of over 100 exercises that are included in the classes.
